Maintain the Glass Forming operation by monitoring fore hearths, feeders, I.S. machines, ware handling units and annealing lehrs.
Perform swabbing of mold equipment and monitors the alignment of bottle at
machine conveyor, cross conveyor and stacker.
( Records in the Glass Forming Daily Operations Reports (GFDOR) all relevant information pertaining to glass forming operation.
( Conducts bottle sampling and inspections.
( Identifies, analyze and correct bottle defects.
( Provides feedback to counterpart Cold End (CE) Line Personnel regarding current operation’s condition that affects bottle quality.
( Provides feed forward to Production Services Department (PSD – Job Change) regarding machine, equipment and mold conditions.
( Provides feedback to immediate superior and fellow Line Personnel regarding
bottle concerns during his shift or during his time at the line.
( Provides assistance to Production Services Department (PSD – Job Change) on Job Change activities and Machine maintenance.
( Monitors and controls gob weight and mold temperature.
( Maintains good bottle quality and monitors the condition of shear spray, gob drop, cullet chute, fore hearth temperature and hot end ware reject timing.
( Performs alternate Mold Maintenance.
( Ensures adherence to the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) of the company.
( Performs other related tasks that may be assigned form time to time.
