Process Engineer

I am a Ceramic Engineer with 4.4 years of professional experience in the glass manufacturing and refractory engineering industry. Throughout my career, I have gained practical exposure in furnace operations, batch house management, refractory inspection, shutdown execution, commissioning activities, and process optimization. My technical background and industrial experience have helped me develop strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required for handling high-temperature industrial processes efficiently and safely.

I started my professional journey with exposure to glass manufacturing operations, where I worked closely with furnace systems, batch preparation, process monitoring, and production control. During this period, I gained hands-on experience in maintaining batch yield according to raw material consumption targets and ensuring smooth coordination between production and raw material availability. I was responsible for monitoring and maintaining raw material and cullet stock levels as per production requirements and incoming receipts. This role required continuous coordination with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to avoid shortages and maintain uninterrupted plant operations.

In the batch house area, I worked on process monitoring and calibration activities to ensure accuracy in batching operations. I carried out scheduled batch house scale calibrations to maintain precise raw material measurements and process consistency. My responsibilities also included monitoring the operation of conveyors, mixers, silos, bucket elevators, and cullet handling systems. I developed a good understanding of SCADA and DCS-based operational systems, which helped in maintaining process control and troubleshooting operational abnormalities effectively.

I have practical experience in furnace operation and maintenance activities, where I ensured that operational parameters remained within SOP limits for stable production.
