The Tiama HOT form is a tool to monitor the process. The system takes pictures and measures the emissivity of all articles on the conveyor to give information on glass repartition. Several statistics are given by the system to show process trends and to identify process deviations.
The system is synchronized with the IS machine, allowing to link the data and the images provided by the system to the sections and cavities to know where the issue comes from. The operator can react quickly without waiting for the cold end feedback.
The Tiama HOT form is a system composed of one or two Infrared cameras located inside one or two metallic tubes directly fixed on the conveyor after the IS machine. The system has been designed to resist to the harsh environment of the hot-end. Also, if the production line is already equipped with the Tiama HOT eye, the camera of the Tiama HOT form will be installed in the same tubes than the ones used by the Tiama HOT eye in order to limit the footprint of the systems.
Thanks to the Tiama HOT form it is possible to identify process deviations and avoid the creation of defects such as thin glass by acting on the process before the defects occur.
